Wow Nail_City...... that worked out quite well for you.  The record was still there and Jim too.  That is some terrific luck!  Great first post too.

Great video, enjoyed it a lot!

Nice to see Jim do some of the heavy lifting on guitar.  But, his voice does not sound well. I hope he gives it a good rest before NYE.

... oh, and Patrick's expressions are more than worth the price of admission, LOL.

I saw some comments saying that his voice sounded better than ever at his solo acoustic show on the 17th, but he definitely has a rougher go at this tune. Confusing to see a shift like that.

Just shows how great Tom Petty's voice was and how hard it is to sing his songs.

Here's another video from the show

Good point. I like Jim's "hoarse voice" when its a lets-go-crazy song and/or moment such as with JRAD at Lockn for Been Caught Stealing or Head Held High or the like. Its as inappropriate on most Petty songs as it would be on Where To Begin.

Can't imagine a non-MMJ fan being ecstatic over it.

Since someone new to the Forum was asking about this show, I decided to revisit this thread and re-upload and fix the broken links to these videos.
