Rooms just opened up at the ALoft hotel for nye if anyone needs one. Pretty cheap too. How’s the atmosphere there? And how packed was the arena?

Great looking set!!  Did they announce that there would be no repeats these 3 nights or is that just a given for multi night runs now??

Some kind soul was posting great sounding live videos on Facebook last night.  If that guy is in here, god bless man

I don't believe  they ever made an official announcement about that but it is a given Murph.

After the Sandy Benefit in Asbury Park a bunch of us were at the hotel bar and later that night the band showed up and we got to chat a bit with the guys. Carl told Mr. Whippy and me how the band loves doing the multi night runs and not only penning the set lists with no repeats but playing those shows. Told us flat out to expect that at any multi night run.

We've both passed that word around since and I know others who have met the guys were told the same thing, so it pretty much is "unofficially official".

That said, what a show last night and as usual night 1 was killer! Word to the wise....NEVER miss a night1!

What a great looking set list!  I'm so bummed I'm not there and so envious!  Londown I wish i was rocking out with you, I'm enjoying your stoke and glad the drama journey ended up working out for you to make the shows!  Rock out, my man!

War > Sing You Songs > O Is The One looks killer.  So does Evelyn and Slow Tune.  Aarrgghhh!

Agreed Shug.  I'm so jealous of those of you in Denver for these shows and I soooo wish I was there!!!

Love that they played Evelyn on night 1!  We have a year old golden we named Evelyn (Evie) after this song!!!  My kids love when it comes on in the car!!!

Any tapers sighted in the audience???

It was definitely a treat for us and a helluva start to the run.     As was the Carried Away thru Dondante.  They absolutely nailed the Dylan cover too.

Thanks for the taper info. I'm looking forward to having this show

yeah really the At Dawn > Lowdown > Xmas Curtain opener and the the Heartbreakin' > Evelyn > Slow Tune  are great trios of tunes.  And Carried Away > Smokin' From Shooting, so many treats in there.  Aluminum Park for those that dig it, too.  I also think Thin Line was a highlight from the Waterfall album.  Really nice looking setlist.  I love it when you get one like this on the first night cause it makes you wonder what they are gonna pull out for the next 2 nights!

Still working on the recording from last night. Had a slight issue with mine after the processing finished so I need to start over. Hopefully this will hold you over until I'm done.

Not feeling great so I'm going to couch tour the Phish show tonight. Not sure if I can finish this up before the show starts, but hopefully during set break.

One taper last night was sick, but I think he's better today so he'll be taking my spot tonight. Two other tapers were there last night and will also be there tonight and tomorrow (so 3 tapers each night). All of them have insane setups (also completely different), so I'm sure the next 2 nights will sound great. A few of them are from out of state so I wouldn't expect recordings to be shared for at least a few days after the new year.

Have fun for anyone going tonight. I might come back on the 31st, but no recording for me that night.

This sounds fucking amazing, thank you! Can't wait to hear the whole thing! Fantastic separation and none of that boomy sound you find on most arena tapings. Well done!
