Still not getting the reference, but Love & Rockets were a great band.  I prefer their psychedelia to the goth coldness of Bauhaus.

Was lucky to have seen them a couple of times - at Dodger's Stadium opening for The Cure in 1989, up in the mountains during the summer at Perry Farrell's ENIT Tour in 1996, at the Mayan Theater in LA for the Lift Tour, and a year later at their last (pre-reunion shows) show at the Roxy, where Stephen Perkins of Jane's Addiction joined them for some additional percussion.

What reference are you not getting? I simply named an album and the year it was released cuz it was self titled

I just got what you meant to say... then I saw your comment.

Anyway, I think Love & Rockets were a really great band, very experimental in their sound and albums.

man, seeing this video for the first time played a large part in transforming my musical tastes as a kid.  tune holds up.  great band.
