This week's top recommendation goes to a soundtrack. Director Cameron Crowe has a new movie coming out called Elizabethtown. As in all of his movies the music plays a special role--almost as if it's one of the main characters. This soundtrack features songs by current artists by the likes of Ryan Adams and My Morning Jacket as well as classics by Elton John and Tom Petty. Taken together it's an excellent collection of the old and the new. There's also an EP with a few more songs from the movie that's available only at select indie stores.
