I am still really sad about this and I know it's just a small shared performance and it's not fair to be envious of the NYC'rs but I somewhat feel cheated they can make it to this and not home...

For example, did the Jacket take the time to visit their fans in the Netherlands last time they were in Europe? Have they made up the for the Australian dates that got canceled?
Or the UK shows that got 'postponed' over a year ago?
No, but they've had a couple of rocking proms in the US!

I'm not bitching or saying that any of these decisions were wrong. Who are we to judge the bands actions/decisions?

The band thought they wouldn't be playing any more shows this year but then this came up. It's a great opportunity for them, one they'd be very foolish to turn down.


Anyway, that's one hell of a line up! The Roots playing Dylan?!!
Like BH said, fingers crossed they'll be a movie/DVD.
