Explain your damn username

term used by aldous huxley in the doors of perception to describe an uninhibited consciousness after self-administering mescaline before an interview (book based on his thoughts which were recorded). 

the book inspired the name of one of my favorite bands, the doors.

plus, huxley is also among my favorite writers.

Blucas is a real dude who is a friend of mine.  As many others in here, I needed some info from the forum and simply settled on Blucas, not expecting to ever come back.  Blucas is a portmanteau of Bluto (he's big and burly) and Lucas (his last name).  Funny thing, he always liked and accepted Blucas.  However, one drunken night, years after Blucas had stuck, I called him "Bluto Lucas" and he got real mad...he never knew why he was Blucas before that moment.  He could probably rip off all my limbs so I'm lucky I'm not typing this with a straw.  Anyway, some of you know me as Flynt Wigbaum, which is a fake name story for another day.
