As many of you know, Guided by VOices are breaking up.  A real tragedy.  Bob Pollard is an amazing artist who I hope continues to write the great music that he done for such a long time.  First time I saw MMJ was when they opened for GBV.  Farwell tour is happening.  Anyone been to a show or a going one.  They are coming to Portland, OR for two shows.  One of only three places that get a two show experience.  I plan on being up front for both.  If you have not seen them before, you should really make an effort.  They play in the neighborhood of 35 to 40 tunes per gig.

Sold out!  Damn it!

Anyhoo, any reports from what this tour is like?  If Pollard is 10% as drunk as last time around, it's not cool at all...

Pollard is supposed to be starting up a solo career, if that's any consolation...
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

Yeah...I heard that.  Can't complain aobut that.  I am sure Pollard has the cooler on stage and drinking the Millers Lite's.
