I have some questions:

-I have a hard time distinguishing between US and Canadian measurements of hot/cold, so, what's the weather like right now?  Winter coats, hats and mitts weather?  We had some snow yesterday.

-I've been hearing talk about hurricanes in Kentucky.  Is this true?

-How does Thanksgiving work?  Is the Friday day a holiday, too?  Is everything shut down on the Friday, or are things open?  Is everything shut down on the Thursday?

you only get hurricane remnants inland, ie heavy rain and winds, and this isnt happening right now.  its been cold here the past few days, 20s and 30s, should be in the 40s in the next few days.  its winter coat weather if you get cold easily.

pretty much everything is shut down on thursday.  even most places that stay open 24/7 are completely closed, or close at 5 or 6pm.  most things are back open on friday, though.

-It is very cold right now (for Kentucky anyway)...it has ranged from warm (70 degrees on Tuesday) to very cold (20 degrees on Thursday)...it will probably be anywhere from 30 degrees to 50 degrees next week...which is cold!

-No hurricanes in Kentucky.  But we have had tornados (basically land hurricanes, but not as big with stronger winds).

-Most everything will be shut down on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.  Bars and some restaurants will be open.  Friday most everything will be open as it is not considered part of the holiday.

Right now it's around 0 degrees Celsius, it probably won't get any colder than that but it might get warmer.  You won't have too much trouble, I'm pretty sure eery weather report list the temp in F and C.  The Palace should be nice and cozy though.  I would suggest layers!

No hurricanes in KY just toronadoes and they don't hit the cities, just farms and trailerparks around the city.
