So I'm sitting here in the library trying to kill time before the next class, and some guy walks in front of me and trips over a chair, which sends him into a moderately sized case of books and knocks them all over.  Wow!  That's the funniest thing I've seen in while.  It's great watching people embarress themselves. :)

that sounds really funny...

God damn those sticky keys  :)

Dee.

Ouch!

Did the guy try to laugh it off or was he one of those people who remains completely silent and makes you feel bad for laughing?  How many people rushed to help him pick up the books?

I'm painting a mental picture..  :)

NERD ALERT. harrrrrr.

man why do i get so much pleasure from seeing people trip. like when some dude is trying to show off on his skateboard, then he just eats it... it cracks me up. even though i would probably be dead if i got on a skateboard.

I saw a hilarious clip a few months ago featuring Mr T. where he explains how you can recover from mishaps like that & use them to your advantage.
Can't find it again for the life of me...
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

He just kinda looked around and walked off.  Nothing major on the exit.  And I did spell embarrass wrong!  I might've misspelled it there too...agh!   Did I misspell 'misspell' too?  or is it 'mispell'?

Dee.

Sounds golden, dragonboy.  The recovery is an important part of the mishap experience.  After a spill, there's that cliffhanger moment where you just don't know how to respond.   It's too bad this guy didn't fulfill his full potential.  :)

Aren't you in the library???  There are hundreds of resources for you to learn how to spell!  ;)
Well I know you're not there now, but you were.  Just thought I'd make you aware of your surroundings again.

When I was at University a book called The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas Khun was required reading.
There was a girl in our group who was notorious for hogging library books. We had an essay to write and she had both copies out. We were getting really annoyed.
I saw her in the library one day talking to her boyfriend, who happened to be black, and called out "Haven't you finished with that Khun yet?"
The silence was deafening. I still blush when I think of it.

Wow, that is funny.  Bet you felt 2 inches tall.  Then again I work with people who do that once a week.  So don't feel too bad.  That put a smile on my face today.
