Hawkeye

I never was much of a Twins fan, but I always loved Kirby (how could you not?).  I seriously almost started crying when I saw Dave Winfield (former teammate) talking about him on Sportscenter tonight  :'( .  I just bought a pet fish tonight and it will be named in Kirby's honor...

RIP Kirby, you will be missed...
We could.

Coltrane

i just found out. I always loved the way he played the game. Always with a big smile on his face.

I miss him already.
....as mayor of Drugachusettes, I declare this pizza to be...AWESOME!!!

sweatboard

I loved the way he played the game.  He absoulutly killed my Cardinals in '87.  He seemed like such a great guy.  I could never cringe when he made a great play against us......Kent Herbek was another story, I cursed that guy so bad that entire series.
There's Still Time.........

Alabama_Bound

Very sad indeed. Heard last night he was the second youngest Hall of Fame member to pass away. Lou Gehrig being #1.

DD

unfortunately hes not the last.  a lot of guys from that generation will be dying young.
