Mr. T.

The Classic Cycling Season got off this weekend in Belgium. Is everybody as excited as me and Chills?

This thread is there for all your discussions from Omloop het Volk to Milan - Sanremo & from the World-famous Tour of Flanders to Paris-Roubaix... Let's go.

Today we have Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne: I'm going for Tom Boonen (as I'll do from now on 'till the end of the season)

God speed Tom Boonen 8)

Hey, these yanks won't care  ::)
But let's try to keep this thread up, even if it's just the two of us.

Hope The Balen Express wins it now.
Rambo woould be nice as well.

They do have George Hincapie! He could be very good in the big races... We'll have to keep an eye on him...

Only 8 km to go. :o

Nick Nuyens!!!

Great team work. Great run. Good winner.

Off to watch some 24 now ;)

You know I was doubting between Wesemann and Nuyens when I had to pick a winner!
This makes me feel stupid  ::)

i only "watch" the tour de france...

my husband and i watched the last leg of the AMGEN Tour of California from Redondo Beach and they announced over 200,000 spectators for this first-year race. it was spectacular. i can't even ride a bike...
everything sucks. really.

Mr. T.

Tour of Flandres tomorrow! Most beautiful race of the year. Here's my top 3:

1 Boonen
2 Hincapie
3 Van Peteghem

Yes, tomorrow.
Our "real" national holiday!

1 Boonen
2 Ballan
3 Hoste

And watch out for  Nico "rambo" Eeckhout.

Chills

Party in Balen!

Our podium picks were quite close, kinda predictable but fun anyway.

Mr. T.

Boonen'll be the one to beat in Paris-Roubaix next sunday.

On another note Chills, shall i start complaining about Emilio Ferrera here, or do i start another thread?

Franky was crying tonight on the radio. What a sad sad moment for FCB  :-/

Damn, I can't even look at that picture.
What a horrible, horrible decision.
Franky should be loyal and leave the sinking ship, don't collaborate with that devil!

I'm in shock, god how I hate him  >:(

I'll go into denial now, don't mention his name again.
Embarrassing.

Only upside of today., it was the episode "het feest" on de collega's today. I needed that shot of misanthropy.

Vrolijke groetjes.

Chills

Yay, Gent-Wegelgem today. What d'ya think?
Pretty hard race to predict. I'll go for a long shot!

1 Paolini
2 Zabel
3 Flecha

Haha, let's see about this  :)

Mr. T.
