i was watching the 6.3.03 show AGAIN at the Mercury in Austin and I've gotta say... they were on that night! SO good SO pure. great recording great venue great stage presence. i think it really shows the magic of the band. everything about the show is right on.

just because i do is perfectly done. love how soft they go and rock it so smoothly. so many highlights. every song is great. just one thing, heartbreakin man, steam engine. mageetah, the way that he sings, everybody's talking is a perfect cover. jim's banter is great as well. " we thought we've seen all of life's treasures, but we were wrong. "  and btw Barton Springs is one of life's treasures...

so if you need a fix before the shows next week. get a hold of this video, i think Kory put it out there on the boards under "you want videos"...
