Long weekend in Norway for midsummer's.  Visiting some friends.  If I know the scandowegians, they'll be gettin' drunk, then gettin' nekkid and then jumpin' in lakes non-stop.

Nothing then until France in September for a couple of weeks.  Which is nice.

Where are you staying in BKK, db?  I love that city...

If I had a Dollar for everytime I said that...

I'd be poor, living under the highway overpass and probably drinking my own urine.

I am seriously envious....Us fine folk here in St Louis go to Branson or Gatlinburg, or for something more "exotic" Party Cover on Lake of the Ozarks.  ;) ;)

Never been before, and looking forward to it.  I'm not looking forward to the booze prices - a minimun US$70 for a bottle of wine in a restaurant, and US$15 for a beer...

It's not any better here. It's $7.50 at most Baseball stadiums. $70 will cover a good bottle here too. The sad part is you can buy a 12 pack of Bub for about $7.50 and that same bottle of wine you can buy at retail for about $10.  [smiley=beer.gif]

we've got about 1200 miles to go, that's about 16 road hours.  the way back from telluride is about eight hours longer.
