There's a couple of threads on this - I think the one titled Into the Wild Movie is where those of us obsessed with this subject have been posting our thoughts.  Got a Sundance Channel episode of Iconoclasts with Krakauer and Sean Penn sitting in my DVR waiting to be watched.
