forum is really slow

i have pretty fast internet, so i know its not me. the pages take a long time to load and sometimes they don't load, and i get a server error. what's up?

I don't mean to sound whiny, I simply would like to inform you that for me, its running super slow and I get server errors more than half the time.  I also see that we have reached new traffic records today and I understand that that could be a likely cause.
