what a spectacular photo this is. it was taken in from the Galeras volcano erupting in Columbia. there are some excellent photos of this volcano erupting at:

Red River Gorge

finally got to see it in the winter time with all the leaves down - it was awesome to see all the cliffs & formations without the leaves hiding them in the summer.  Some of those images I'll post once my girlfriend gets home & I can get them from her camera

Here is one of the coolest buildings in SF, on one of the cities worst streets. It's an abandoned building that's been reborn as a piece of art. It's called "Defenestration". I don't know much about it, but pass it regularly and always appreciate it.

Ha.  We gave that book to one of our friends that just had a baby.  It has a "wheel of responsibility" on the front that you can spin to decide who changes the diaper, and who gets up to give the bottle etc. etc.  There is a book for newlyweds to I think.
