I've been there too, it's an amazing place. Bora Bora is pretty tiny...my wife and I rode bicycles around that island shown in the picture in about 3 hours! There's an atoll with sandy islets surrounding the central island shown in the picture. The atoll creates a really calm lagoon, and allows for the shallow, brilliant, unnaturally blue water. The resort in the picture is out on one of the islets, looking back at the island. We stayed in a bungalow out on one of the islets like that...it was perfect.

There's not a lot to do on Bora Bora, but once you get there, you won't want to do much besides lay in the sun, have sex, dive and swim, eat and drink. It's wonderful!
