My backyard, yesterday afternoon

Really? If so, I'm jealous. I've always wanted a creek in my backyard. When I was little, I grabbed a shovel and started digging one out in my backyard. I didn't get very far because I got tired. When my parents noticed that evening, I got in trouble because it was a rental house.

I guess I thought that I would just run a hose into the ditch that I was digging and it would "become a creek".

when we looked at the house 3 years ago, we saw the backyard first and I said, "We'll take it" before stepping one foot inside the house. My wife suggested we go inside and check the house out and I said, "Knock yourself out, I'll be back here."

Completely off-topic, but interesting (I think!):  Levon Helm quit the Band when they were Dylan's band and touring in England.  (Got sick of all the booing) He went to the gulf of Mexico & worked on an oil rig.

He belongs to my aunt and uncle who i lived with for a little bit a couple of years ago.  he is a very special soul for sure.
