Outstanding, DL. I think I should have that framed on my office wall.

Hey, HH, speaking of record collections, are you on Discogs? Here's me:  http://www.discogs.com/user/crispyinstilly

Hey Chris- don't know about this site.  Must take a long time to list all of your stuff.  Looks like a pretty informative place to visit.

It does take a long time, especially if you're taking the time to find each specific release, and of course you get into records you haven't listened to in a long time and all that. Also, you can find crazy shit you don't have and put it on your wantlist. Like this:

Ah, the old classic hymn "things got soft for grandma"...we sit around the fire every Christmas,  drinking glogg, listening to that fine tune.

Thanks Crispy.  I'm actually alphabetizing my records for the first time in over a year.  They tend to get rather scattered when drunk friends play DJ.  I'm surprised that you never messed around with discogs Jeff.  Do you use a site like it?

I want that record so bad, because "I Tried It Everywhere" by Saul T. Peter.

Seriously, that record had to go Gold for the laughs factor alone.   It should be a must have for every vinyl collector.
"Where's Jim going?"

Wow, I gotta find that record.  Perfect for framing if nothing else.

Rob- never used a site like that.  Being way too type A, my record collection has been alphabetized since high school and while I too can often pull out a bunch during a fun dj session, I make sure to file them all back where they were the next day or I'd never find them again.

Even tho I'm not quite as bad as Dan Stern's character in Diner, if they get filed in the wrong place, it takes me a long time to find them again.  My collection seems to self-multiply and I am well over 7,000 lps at this point.  Yes, I have issues.   Would never be able to find time to list what I had.

For me, he lost it when he forgot the apostrophe in Rubik's cube. But I still love "son of a librarian and a Capricorn."
