Best sunset I ever saw was in Bali. My guide for the day took me to a spot famous for sunsets having spent the day looking at temples. Just as the sun began to set I got hit big-time by a bad case of 'Bali-belly' & asked to the driver to take me back to my hotel ASAP. He couldn't understand why I suddenly wanted to leave but I didn't want to offend him by saying that I couldn't use the local toliet for what was about to happen. As we drove back the sky turned every shade of purple & yet all I could concentrate on was keeping my buttock muscles together   :-[

It pisses me off sometimes when I look up at an amazing natural display like that and see a big airplane streak right thru the middle of it.  It shouldn't really matter, but to me it does.

Pete and Frickin Pete. man. whatever happened to good kid's shows. you never realize how much good culture those guys snuck in on you, but Michael Stipe, Debbie Harry, and hell, Steve Buscemi all showed up in that show in some way or another.

What happened to that? Did they think they had a formula they could work with so they tried to corporatize it and sync it with MTV in order to sell "popular music"? I can't stand where kids' shows are nowadays. Don't even get me started on the damn Cheetah Girls.

I'm actually watching it for the 1st time. LOVE IT. now I see that shows like malcolm in the middle, scrubs etc. are really just imitating pete and pete! polaris put down some great tunes for that show too.
