I'm just a country bumpkin from NH, so correct me if I'm wrong, but would a guy in head-to-toe S&M leather really draw that many looks in NYC?

no, it's more the norm in certain areas NOT to be head-to-toe in S&M leather.

Do you mean to say he could have just walked normally, maybe even asked to borrow a cell phone or something, instead?  Of course, then you couldn't have all the slapstick.

I love this show.  A great mix of genres and Ted Danson just gets better with age (in Curb Your Enthusiasm, for example).  Zach G. is almost always a riot, and I've always liked Jason Schwartzman (have you seen his 'stache?).

I'd forgotten it was premiering last night.  When I finished Boardwalk Empire, I was about to shut off the TV and do some work when I caught that is was "up next".  A very pleasant half-hour.  Wish I could get my wife into it.

QuoteDoes anyone watch Dexter?

I just saw episodes 1,2,3 from Season One and am immediately hooked!  Can't wait to watch another episode tonite.  The Wii/Netfliz thing is fantastic!!

Oops...gotta go  "Im not There" is on HBO  right now....and Guess whose voice just popped out of my TV???????????  ooooooooh shivers.

Dexter is up there as one of the best tv series as of late for sure.  I loved season 1-3 but season 4 is biblical. What day is the season 5 premiere, it's soon isn't it? I'm really pumped for season two of Bored to Death & Eastbound and Down.  it's going to be a hilarious fall tv time.

New seasons of Dexter and Bored to Death air on Sunday. Check your local listings.
Next to the Wire, Dexter is probably my favorite Drama/Thriller TV series of all time.  I know people loved the Lithgow season but 1 is still my favorite followed by 4 then 2.  Season 3 with Jimmy Smits was relatively forgettable.  I no longer get Showtime so I'll just have to wait and not peak in here. :)

I thought Season II was the weakest; it certainly made you stretch belief, even for that show. I think Season III was when the periphery characters started to get more interesting (and their acting got better).

Deadwood is still my all time favourite, of the US pay-cable shows.
I see what you're saying here Jaimoe.  I think the reason why I still favored season 2 was still the relative newness of the show and that it contained my favorite character on the show.  Plus that annoying psychopath Dexter was messin' with was pretty hot.  If I were to go back and attempt to watch them again, which I doubt I'd do, I've venture that I too might flip flop 2 and 3.

Ted Danson is so fantastic these days.  Generally speaking.

I'm really enjoying Delocated. I never watched season one, but I'm enjoying season two. Of course I pretty much like anything from Adult Swim.

you can watch season two here...

Anyone watchign Rubicon? Still havent watched last week's episode, but its really picked up in the last 3-4 episodes. Started off slow, but I think its been quality from the get go.

That new show on Fox, Raising Hope, is pretty good for a network sitcom as well

I'm having trouble getting into Boardwalk Empire.   I WANT to like it, I know it gets good reviews, I enjoy most everything HBO touches, but ... I dunno ... it's work at this point.   Anyone else feeling this way?   Should I keep trying or give up?

I thought the first episode was OK, but after the second, I'm hooked.  Haven't watched the third yet.

tonights episode of survivor man... well the new les straud(sp?) show is awesome.  they just blew tree bark and tobacco up les' nose.  he's going to be tripping balls momentarily I think.   he is the creator of the survivor show.  man vs wild posed off him and made the scenario more "extreme" for people who drink mountain dew or something.  but les is way more pure.  he's one of my tv heroes.  his new show is pretty tight.
