Not sure how I feel about the Dexter/Deb love angle. I could see it coming in the last few episodes. I really liked the ending though; I'm excited to see how it goes with someone knowing Dexter is a serial killer now.

I think the only out for Dex next season is the love angle. It had to go this way (with him getting caught) because each season to this point play out mostly the same: self-contained story arch with Dex hunting down killers and almost getting caught. I'm glad that the support characters finally are starting to get interesting storylines.

Anyone catch the Family Guy's 2-part Christmas special last night? It sucked hard.

if it even sort of helps people like that epileptic kid it's 100percent worth it to fight to legalize it.  that shit is sad as fuck.  that said it shouldn't be the reason it's legal.  it should not be illegal in the first place.  the war on drugs is one of the biggest, if not biggest failures in the history of american policy.   I feel bad for all the people in prison right now for weed.

Completely agree with you Sticky!  How could these morons trying to shut down clinics like the one on Weed Wars not watch that show and be moved by the actual good that can come from this plant?  Sure, there might be a very small percentage of people that have truly legit reasons for needing marijuana scripts, but that's besides the point.  As Sticky said, this shouldn't be the reason to leagalize marijuana in the first place!

in ann arbor it's only like a 25dollar fine if you get caught smoking herb.  hash bash isn't nearly as sweet as it use to be.  they use to let you just walk around smoking joints as long as you weren't passing it around and shit.   you could do it right in front of cops and they didn't give a fuuuuck.  now they've got it marked off to a really tiny part on the U of M campus.  if I get busted by my house it's a misdemeanor I'm pretty sure.   the cops in the county where I like (oakland county) fucking blow.  corrupt ass, rich ass, punk ass mother fuckers.  the head sheriff dude says legalizing pot is going to bring the cartel to michigan and all sorts of bullshit. total nut job.  one of many.  our country is fucked.  completely and totally fucked.

Here in Ohio it's like getting a traffic ticket if you have a minimal amount which is actually quite a bit (I think up to 1/2 an ounce?).  Back when I was in college in PA, if you had an 1/8th of an ounce you could be charged with felony intent to distribute which was totally fucked up if you ask me?!  So, we have come a long way in less than 20 years, but I'd still like to see it legalized.

BTW, I went to a couple of hash bashes in Ann Arbor when I was in college.  Back in those days it was completely surreal to be able to legally walk around toking right in front of cops knowing you were completely legal!   8)

no doubt ilikebeer, hash bash was the bomb back in the day.  now it's like a little area marked off down by south quad or some shit.  LAME.

So I watched all 3 epis of This Is England '88. Fuck that was good. Shane Meadows is pure unadulterated genius. Woody's confrontation with the gang & Lol's spiraling and OD were so real and incredibly powerful. If there is any justice, Shane Meadows does in fact make This is England '90.

Sames.  Also, super awkward knowing the two actors were recently married (and even more recently divorced).

HBO cancels Bored To Death, Hung, and How To Make It In America (but spares Enlightened)

by Sean O'Neal December 20, 2011

In order to make room for the dozens of shows it currently has in development—and because the network has a self-issued edict to only air original programming on Sunday nights—HBO has made the unprecedented decision to cull three of its series all at once. Variety reports that Bored To Death, Hung, and How To Make It In America have all been canceled in one swift move of execution, with only the freshman comedy Enlightened being spared and issued a renewal—something of a surprise, considering Enlightened (while championed by critics) was the lowest-rated of the four. Of course the highest-rated, Hung, still suffered a nearly 50-percent drop in viewership between last season and this one, while both Bored To Death and How To Make It In America were down around 25 percent. The quick decision to cancel all three of those leaves several cliffhangers that will never be answered—possible murders, incestuous romances, uh, jeans orders at Gadzooks. You will be left wondering about at least two of those forever.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Can't believe HBO cancelled these, especially HTMIIA >:( This show was decently interesting:/ Maybe some other bland-ass network will pick it up. Or it's Kenny Powers for 2012 :D
The time is near, to come forward with whatever killed your spark.

a jogging deceased place would be amazing.  hurts this period only has one present eventually left.

I get what your saying about not understanding but as well there are shitload of individuals who weren't in a coma.  they have to know a little more about what's going on, and maybe now that they've met up with desmond at the hatch out we'll get a few more solutions.  but like you're saying it's probably going to be some unique secret they gradually begin to try and fix, but then what?  it seems like there is going to be more to the present than just holding out it out while zombies try and eat their company.

hurley did it.

Why the hell didn't anyone warn me about Sherlock. Damn it, this is great and I'm not even through series 1.

rampart - solid performance from woody.  dug everything minus the ending which i thought was lazy.  kinda one of those "make up your own mind" endings.  I prefer closure most of the time.   definitely recommended.

tinker tailor solider spy - decent, completely and utterly predictable.  had it figured out within the first 10minutes so the pay off was weak.  there was some decent acting done by the cast tho.  Tom Hardy is really starting to make his mark when it comes to film.

bronson - finally got a chance to watch this movie, again starring bane aka tom hardy.  solid performance and the ending sequence was quite poetic.  fun character to watch.  a little too much uncircumcised wang for me tho.  that's my only complaint.
