I can't wait to see 'Testees' - from the twisted mind of Kenny Hotz (of my favourite Canadian show Kenny vs. Spenny).  It premieres on FX on Thursday.

So...I watched the first episode on YouTube and it's pretty much unbearable.  I can't see it lasting too long, unless it gets drastically better.  

I'll be sticking to my Kenny vs. Spenny seasons on DVD.

Just last year when Flight of the Conchords started, didnt like it at first. Seemed like a Tenacious D rip off. I even wasnt sold after a few episodes, but I kept watching it and its pretty good. There are at lease a handful of comedies on TV right now that are better, but its good

Watched Disc 1, and the season started off a little slower than I remembered.

I thought McNulty started doin his deal as the serial killer from the 1st episode, but it didnt start til episode 3...hmm

I got finals the next 4 days so I probably wont start watching the rest until thursday or so, but well see. I remember it picking up a lot the next couple episodes though before I missed the last few episodes of the season

Yeah McNulty's activity with the serial killer was the Season's only flaw IMO. I love McNulty but the serial killer thing was just silly...sure, he's always taken chances & played by his own rules but this didn't work for me.
But it's still a great season, The Baltimore Sun story is good & the street is fantastic...a couple of people 'get got' that shocked the hell out of me + Bubs' story is really touching.

RE: The Wire, stick with it. It takes a few episodes to build the story & introduce the characters. Definitely worth putting the time in...it's the best show I've seen on TV.

Just finished watching another outstanding John Simm TV mini-series (State Of Play, Life On Mars etc) Sex Traffic.
Tells the story of 2 sisters from eastern Europe who believe they're coming to London to work in a hotel...what can I say? Absolutely brilliant television! Deeply effecting & profoundly moving...no wonder it won 8 BAFTAs.
