no, it was a storage chest thing. i wish it would have been something cool like a transformer, because then i might look like a badass instead of a ditzy klutz. meh. at least the pills they gave me make work more tolerable.  :D

ugh i just had an interaction on the train with the biggest random bitch in the entire universe. i left my cell phone at home and needed to call my mom to let her know taht i was gonna be okay for dinner blah blah blah because she's leaving the country and whatever.  so i was on the train and i was searching and searching and i just couldn't find the phone! so i asked this woman, probably 27 or so years old, who looked like a (relatively) nice person if i she had a phone i could borrow. and she looked at me like an idiot! so i thought she didnt' understand, because it seemed like a completely reasonable request to me... so i repeated my self and made a phone handgesture and whatever and she responded

"uh -- yeah, i know what you're talking about... *scoff*..." and i said
"okay, so can i borrow it you think for a second?"

"uh - y'know there are pay phones at every stop...*scoff again!*"
and then turned away!~

and i just looked at her, completely befuddled. i don't get it. what a bitch! i would've let her use MY phone! so i stared at her and she ignored my threatening scowl for the remainder of her train trip.  UGH. it just makes me lose respect for humanity.  and it put me in a terrible mood.  i don't know why, but it just set me off. the worst thing was that everyoen around me saw this interaction adn didn't even OFFER to let me borrow theirs! i mean, i donno. i'm not trying to hold myself in such a pedastol by any means.  it just seems crazy that no one would help someone else out.

the best part, though, was when she was getting off they only opened the front door so she was waiting at the back one and she almost missed getting off. and while she was running to the front door i was muttering "Miss it miss it miss it".  i actually got quite a few dirty looks for doing that, but she deserved it.

if i ever see her again i'm punching her in the teeth.

I really love doing 2 jobs at once. I just hav such a hard on for it. I love working 12+ hours every day and not seeing my kids and my wife.....actually I'm so touched by working the extra hours that I do not really miss mi familia..

Please note the HEAVY tones of sarcasm. I have been trying to transition to my new role for 2+ weeks now. My replacement just is not getting it. She is not technically smart on spreadsheets and any of the software we hae to use. She works at such a slow pace that I can take a brick of lead and by the time she's done doing stuff, it will have molecularly altered itself into gold (the time span for mother nature to do this is a reaaaaaaalllly long time). I do not know how much more I can take this. It's making regret taking this promotion if I have to put up with this fucking shit.

first off, face, i would have totally given you my phone, so don't lose hope in random human kindness (that lady sounds like she had a pole stuck somewhere ;))

But I am so bummed.  My best friend (and former roomate) just lost her dog on Monday morning.  Orion was an amazing dog (and my dog's "wife"...no joke).  She lived to 10 years, which is amazing for a great dane.  but...well, I come from a group of people with no kids...and our dogs are our kids.  I was out of town when it happened and unavailable for a hug.  I got to see my best friend tonight and my dog   Junior was so confused when his "wife" (trust me on this...these 2 dogs knew each other for 8 years of their life and while she was fixed, he isn't and he claimed her as his love)...back to the post, well my dog is starting to understand as of tonight that he will never have Orion back.  So I am spillin' one for my dog friend Orion.  The sweetest dog in the world.
