Nothing like a Father/Son bond! (you all know I can attest to that) We are both lucky in that it is such an important part of our life. Keep in touch through "spirit" if that makes any sense in knowing that your relationship far surpasses any physical limitations that may be imposed. (that is what is keeping me going right now)  :)

Trying to cut back on my coffee consumption. I realized there was a problem as I have gone through a 3 lb bag of beans in 2 weeks, and I'm the only one drinking it.  :o

I have not had a cup in 3 days. No headaches as I am drinking some tea instead. Nice strong English Breakfast and Earl Grey. Getting just enough caffeine to prevent the buzzsaw in my head however I FEEL FUCKING ALTERED. I seriously feel like I'm drunk, stumbling around. I just feel plain weird.  :-/

Good luck with that.  I haven't had coffee in over three years and I don't miss it a bit.  I've got enough stuff to get addicted to, I don't need to screw around with coffee!  That's my theory anyway.

Question: why isn't coffee considered a gateway drug to meth?

My current complaint:  I can't get caught up with my sleep.  Therefore, I can't get myself motivated this morning, so I'm posting on the forum rather than doing any of the 25 things I need to do for school right now.  Thank goodness for Labor Day Weekend!

does that really keep you from getting sick, or at least make it less often?  i know it helps my aunt get strep less, but other than that, i've heard it usually doesn't make a difference.  they don't have any other options?

mine have stayed enlarged from being sick before. i mean, i'm healthy. it's just that my tonsils are so big i have problems eating/breathing.

I've heard the later in life you have it done the worse it is.  I got mine removed when I was four, which is good because I barely remember it and it wasn't as awful as it will be for you(sorry).  however, there is a possibility that they will grow back.  :(

my sister had hers removed when she was 16 and she was laid out for a week.

Very astute point. I felt like a raging meth head about 9 AM when the coffee fully kicked in.  oiy. I think I like the effects of tea better, more subtle. Now if only the altered feeling would go away. At least until I can get some of this in me this weekend.

my 5-year-old nephew was in a car wreck. some drunk driver hit the side of the car where he was sitting. he was unconcious for six hours. he finally got to go home yesterday, but he has to miss a week of kindergarten.  :'(

any mac users here? my imac was stuck on the Front Row menu screen. The controller worked only when i put a dvd on, so i know the battery wasn't dead in the remote. i could only navigate through the dvd menu and it would not leave Front Row. I tried everything and finally had the idea to unplug the mac witch brings me here now.
