My boyfriend's mate from school is missing in the Kinglake area. They think he may have gone away that weekend, but no one has heard from him or can get into contact with him.

Shit. This is a nightmare.

Received word last night that my boyfriend's mate was found last night at one of the relief camps. He's alive and not seriously injured, so a very very lucky man.

They're saying the death toll may go over 300 people.... it's just unimaginable.

There are a lot of people I know that have also just found out that they have cancer. Keeping all of them (including your friend) in my prayers right now.

Also, I'm feeling a bit woozy, and mi madre has taken that to mean that I'm sick and must stay home. Frankly, though, makeup work is a bitch.

Stay strong for your friend Meg.  I have a history of various cancers in my family, too.  Gotta stay positive no matter what.

It's been blowing like crazy all day, but it seems to finally be tapering off here.  We lost power at my office at 11:00 this morning.  We all left early and I saw some crazy stuff blowing around on the way home... Good luck to your pine grove, Ritchie!

I want them to fall, just not on our building. If one falls and knocks the power off then my dad and I are going to go and cut down about 10 more. :)
