It's not a current complaint. More a current sadness but I didn't feel like starting a new thread.
My dad died on Tuesday.
He was the coolest person I know. I always said, "Dad's cooler than Keef Richards."
He really loved music and yes, he liked MMJ too. Golden was hands down his favourite MMJ song. The first time he heard it he told me he'd by the whole album just to hear that song and it usually took dad a while to like something.
I was playing guitar on Sunday and I started playing Runnaway by Del Shannon and my sister and my dad started singing. Then I played Ruckus, Same In Any Language and he laughed cause I was trying to impersonate Jim James.

I listened to Ruckus today but I don't think I could handle Golden just yet.
So if you're reading and you feel like it, play him a song. I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Sorry for your loss Serena.  I tend to avoid the current complaints thread, so I just read this.  Hang in there.  I think it's wonderful that you were so close to your dad and he meant so much to you.   Try to focus on the great moments you had together.  Those will never go away.  He lives on in you.
