No, my name is not there, but my aura is like a bird. A bird that speaks to the universe and spreads his good tidings to all those deserving
by good tidings do you mean

this one got the bad tidings.

he didnt believe I talk daily to the universe. were homies

I think the problem is that you think you are the one talking to the universe. This is a common flaw.

I will repeat:    L I S T E N
I'm curious, can you elaborate on how to listen?

Willie Nelson & Bob Dylan are in Vegas but I already have a ticket for O. Not too worried about Bob Dylan, I've read some bad things about his recent shows over the years (good things too, of course!) I think I'd rather not see him live so his god-like-genius image isn't damaged in my mind but Willie Nelson?! In Vegas?!! When I'm there?!!!  :'(
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

The Cirque De Soleil water show @ The Bellagio. I'd give them up if they hadn't cost me something like $140!

SPOILER ALERT

The ending to Slumdog Millionaire. It's really starting to bother me for so many reasons. The more I think about it, the less happy it really is. Of course, Jamal's satisfied at the end, but what difference does that really make? The first half of the film devotes a ton of time to showing how hard life is for the poor in India but, at the end, we're supposed to forget those problems and smile. What a huge disservice to the real people in India actually going through what those kids did in the film. Jamal's rich, so that's great. Everybody else is still poor and dying in the streets but who cares, right? Two endings would have been far more effective:

1. Jamal loses all the money, but him and Latika still run away together because it's not about the money . . . right?
2. Jamal wins the money, goes down to the slum and shares his wealth.

The more I think about the second half of that movie, the less I like it. The first half's still great though.

Maybe you could delete or edit your post Capt Heady, so it's not at the top of the page or the spoiler is not visible? Thanks  :)

A small complaint in the grand scheme of things but I'm sick of getting movies so much later than the rest of the world here in Japan.
I've got some time off & was thinking about going to see something - Wolverine maybe, if there's nothing else on, only to find this:
Rest of The World: April 28, 29, 30 or May 1st Japan: August 22

Man, 1 of my best friends from high school forwarded me this article that came out today about a $1.2 million drug bust at Penn State since he knew I went there. It reads like what you'd expect, until you get near the end and 1 of the guys charged was a pretty good friend of mine at school. I think I've only talked to him once or twice since I graduated, but we lived in the same dorm freshman year, was a friend I'd go out with every other weekend or so throughout my 4 years at PSU, and we played in a weekly poker game at my place the last 3 years I was there.

Crazy. I cant believe it. Im still in awe.

Sorry. brother.  The IRS sucks.

As a matter of fact, I posted in this thread a while back about how they screwed us out of nearly a thousand dollars for back taxes.  Turns out we didn't actually owe that so they reimbursed us for that money and money they owed us from other years when they were screwing us over.  Thank goodness we lucked into finding someone at HR Block that knew what they were doing.

It's my dads fault actually, he sold a shitload of stock that was in my name and didn't give Uncle Sam his cut, so they've started taking it out of my paycheck. :-/   Thanks though

Had a microbiology test that was hard as shit today. It included 6 chapters from the book, and basically every single disease/illness known to man, everything from tooth decay and the common cold to the bubonic plague or SARS. We needed to know what specific bacteria/virus/parasite, etc. caused the disease, the symptoms, how it invades or infects your body, what was the reservoir/vector that transmitted the disease, among other things.

It was more than 100 questions. I dont think I did too good, but Im not sure many other people did either. May have been the hardest exam I've ever taken, and I've had my share of tough ones.

Im hoping for that lovely thing they call a CurVe

Tom Jones' website says he'll be playing the MGM Grand from the 6th to the 19th of August (whilst I'm there) but the MGM Grand's website announced today that some clown called RODNEY CARRINGTON will be there from the 30th of July to August 12th! WTF?!!

My friend's (brand new) condo burnt down this afternoon.  I feel so bad for him; he's such a great guy who's finally accepted his position in life, now this.
