I watched the movie Tyson a couple of weeks ago - he seemed at his happiest talking about his children.

Wow. I read about how she accidentally strangled herself on a cord hanging from a treadmill, but in the article I read earlier today she was still in critical condition.

The first thing that struck me about the timing of the documentary was why now, why so early after his headline grabbing career has ended. You kind of knew he'd be in the news 1 way or another for awhile still, but I never would've thought it would be because of something like this.

For someone whose life has had so many missed opportunities, problems and so much trouble (mostly brought on by himself), its sad for something like this to happen at a point where Tyson finally seemed to be getting on the right track, although I havent seen the documentary yet.

I know a lot of people dont like the guy based on some of his history, but Im a fan and think more than anything he's kind of misunderstood. Best wishes Iron Mike.

I'm in a coffee house right now and earlier there were these two women who came in with their kids and sat down at the table next to mine and started babbling about how hard it is to lose weight after pregnancy.  They went on about it for like 10 minutes.  It kind of got on my nerves a bit.  I obviously don't know what it's like to be a woman and to always be thinking about weight, but to me it just seems so trivial and boring.

Women...well just one actually, but she happens to be the one I'm in love with so it sucks.  She pulled the rug out from under me last December, and I felt like I haven't been able to stand straight since.  She's been calling me lately after fighting with her boyfriend, and I've been there as the shoulder to cry on (bad?).  For the past 4 days she's been bouncing back and forth between wanting to get back with him or not, and she says if she doesn't get with him she'd like to hang out and see where things go...not sure what to think of that  :-/

Tread carefully so you do not get so involved that you get the rug ripped out from under you again. That is a tough place to be in.
