I got pulled for speeding last night by a policeman with a radar gun. I was doing 45 on a stretch of dual carriageway that had a 30 limit because it had street lighting. There wasn't a pedestrian in sight. I was no danger to anyone, and the motherfucker treated me like a criminal.

I accept that I was speeding, but this bullshit isn't about protecting other people's lives, it's about raising cash for the pigs. I've been driving for 24 years without one violation, one accident, or one parking ticket ever. I am not a fast or reckless driver.

To make it worse the piece of shit spoke to me like I was a school boy, asking me questions about the fucking Highway Code. So I ended up with a £60 fine and three penalty points on my licence that will stay visible for 4 years and will affect my insurance premiums. Where was this dickhead and his little radar gun when some scumbags were vandalising my car last year? Probably hiding behind a tree catching old ladies who were going over the 30mph limit!

And the worst thing is that I just had to stand there and take it from this jumped-up little wanker. I wanted to smash the prick in the face and shove his fucking radar gun up his arse!  >:(

If my daughter ever entertained the idea of joining the police I would disown her.

Thanks G-20 Summit for almost ruining my town and it's reputation. Fuck the protesters who vandalized my downtown while 19,000 cops suspiciously did next to nothing. Fuck you Canadian federal government for choosing Toronto to ruin (BTW Yanks, our federal government is located in Ottawa; the Conservative cowards didn't want to hold the summit there, and for good reason). And fuck you PM Stephen Harper for holding the summit in one of the most vibrant downtowns in the fucking world, where millions live and work. I hate getting pulled over too, and maybe its different it britland, but you were going 50% over the speed limit, what do you expect!! If carriages are on it, no wonder youre supposed to be going slow.

Really need to upgrade my communication filter.  And not say things that I know will do the other person no good to hear and make them mad, only to satisfy my own curiosity.  Think I just ruined a friendship because of it.  Hopefully this person will eventually accept my apology.

Speaking of getting pulled over in cars, I always wonder how the fuzz will treat me when I'm driving the Firebird.  It definitely stands out, and I almost never wear my seatbelt in it and I have no front plates (it looks cooler without them).  The plates thing worries me the most.  I've been pulled over once for not having the front one.  I think most cops may not know the rules.  The cop that pulled me over said that they're required in all vehicles after, I believe, 1949 (though I never checked this).  That, and I'm a fairly young guy (27), so I wonder if the cops think I'm out looking for trouble and drinking and driving.  I wonder if I were older if they would tend to cut me more slack.  Although I've only been pulled over in it once, so this really should be no concern, but I always worry about it.  Probably just my own paranoia.  Should be fine as long as I'm not drinking and driving  :-X

When I was living out there and got Iowa plates, I ask the lady why she gave me 2 and she says one is for the front of the car. I gave her the "are you shittin me??" look and she says state requires it on the front and back. I ask her how Im supposed to attach it to the front and she says I need to buy some kind of attachment thing. Needless to say, I never have a plate on the front of my car and thankfully I never got pulled over for it.

I'm from the mother fuckin motor city and have never heard of it being a requirement to have a front plate.  that seems kinda retarded to be honest.   what purpose does it serve other than making the tax payer shell out more cash?    

Cops are boners who in most cases didn't even go to college.  Fuck the police.  There are too many police.

You should have asked the cop if he calibrated his radar gun before pulling you over.  I'm getting pissed just thinking about law enforcement, fuck that shit.   sucks paulie, you should have fought him.

NH requires front plates, too.  But, no helmet law and no adult seatbelt law.
