My current complaint is that a TRAIN HAS DERAILED NEAR MY HOUSE!  EEEEPPP!  I want to go home and check on my critters but the roads are closed and the only way I can get there right now would probably take hours because of all the redirected traffic :(

Well, so far I think the pets are fine.  My mom is at work which is about 5 minutes from my house and she has a key so if they say my area has to evacuate she's going to run in and grab the animals.  Right now all the animals are inside and the wind is blowing in the opposite direction, so I'm just hoping that won't change.

fucking hot weather. a week of ridiculously stinky humidity and i HATE IT. can't sleep, don't feel like eating, work is a fridge with unreliable airconditioning... bring on the cooler weather.

Also, leaky toilets :(  my water bill has doubled and I thought at first someone was stealing water like from the outside faucet but now I think maybe it's because my toilets run too much :(  I need a handyman.

friends with substance abuse problems and not knowing how to help them... but knowing you have to help them... and worrying yourself sick over them... and knowing that if you try to help them, then they'll fucking hate you... and knowing that if you don't help them, then god only knows what will happen next... and feeling like you're going to lose them either way so you don't really know what to do except...  no, you just really don't know what to do... so... goddamn it what do you do?

If you remember I lost a cousin to said problem about a month ago. I am sorry to say that unless the person themselves wants to quit then there is really not much you can do. (at least that was our situation, I am not speaking for all). I do however respect the new reality that has been applied to substance abuse. There for many years people just blamed their problems, upbringing etc. Now we have Bonaduce and some others who just tell it like it is, "I just like to feel High". Some people just do not know when to quit or what to avoid. Good luck, and my thoughts are with you.......

nuts, that's just uncool.  know it well, been there before!  in my own boat and for another.  

in my case, i just bottomed out and thankfully understood that I wasn't a criminal and didn't want to pimp myself for drugs.  

in my friend's case, I just had a long talk with him.  He was fucked up when we talked, but something I said got through.  He's off drugs now, but me and 100 other people who cared about him were the ones to get him through it.  

I don't envy you at all.

In my "current compliants" dept., I'm still bitching about my phony friend.  She sucks!
