I woke up around 3:30 when lightning hit one of the trees in the backyard. My dogs were freaking out and I was, too. I ended up watching James Spann all night. Fully, you know what I am talking about. That guy is a superhero.

Could you guys send some positive thoughts my way? My grandfather is back in the hospital, and the situation does not look good.

It is so hard on all of us. We love PawPaw so much, and want him to be healthy; however, his health has been deteriorating since he had a stroke several years ago.

My PawPaw is the most amazing man ever. He is a retired Marine who ended up being a computer programmer for NASA. He toured the world helping to establish internet connections at US Embassies. His love for Ham radio is what inspired me to pursue my career in broadcasting.

It's just, I love him so much, but I don't know how to feel. Since his stroke, he can't talk. He can't do anything he used to be able to do; it's as if he's trapped in his own body. I know he's miserable, and it's selfish of me to want him to hold on longer.

Just keep him in your thoughts and prayers, please.

Asshole corporate run cafeteria is actively trying to ban the food trucks from parking near our office. Most people here hate our cafeteria as it's drizzling shit for food. The trucks are on public streets not breaking any laws but breaking my heart with their awesome food. I was already boycotting the cafeteria for sub standard food but now they just pissed me off. Every truck that hits here sells out. Should tell you something. Most of the people that go to the trucks are people who go out to lunch so the slop house isn't actually losing any business. Fucking assholes

And the racists have started up their bullshit again in the office. One of the Glenn Beck teat suckers every time he hears Obama's name say's "You big dummy" in an obvious Fred Sanford voice. He's doing it because he thinks he's funny (and he's a bigoted pig) It's taking all of my strength to restrain myself from beating the fuck out of him in the restroom and leaving his pigheaded ass face down in the urinal. I've had it out with this person before when he's said other racially charged statements.

I stirred up some shit apparently on the food truck issues as others with pay grades larger then mine have addressed this with people that needs to make some decisions and the issue is being resolved.....thankfully. Take away my Filipeano, Korean, and Gyro truck and there will be hell to pay.

So I was planning on getting new tires as I've worn them down pretty bad. Turns out shit was all messed up on my little blue smurf of a car. Some kind of tire arm thing was broken off and I was going to be losing my abilty to steer. Yeah, that would have been good. That was an additional $300 on top of the $400+ for tires because my stupid car has an odd size. Yeah, I just have that kind of cash laying around. When the shit am I ever going to catch a break financially. dammit
