Like I said before the series started, I think the winner of Pens-Flyers is the team playing for the Cup out of the East.

Also, Im not too surprised LA is up 2-0 and I think that series is more over than ours

The joy my country feels for Vancouver being down 2-0 cannot be overstated.

Tonight's Sens-Rangers game was the nastiest of the entire playoffs.

I only caught part of the 1st, last half of the 3rd, and OT, but good game. Same with B's-Caps (although you may disagree)...Hawks-Yotes so far tonight has been very good as well.

Great start to the playoffs so far, except for the Pens that is.

A great game is a great game, regardless of the result.

BTW, Alfredsson took a vicious elbow to the head from Carl Hagelin of all people and did not return.

Andy McDonald of the Blues got his helmet cracked from another dirty hit.

The night all-round has been not for the faint of heart.

Big win for the Hawks!!

Huuuuuuge win for the Hawks! How about they don't leave it until the dying seconds for game three though? Hawks in five.

Game four of the Flyers-Pens series is going to be very interesting. I am a huge Flyers fan, but I bought tickets to game seven off Stubhub before the series started. I'm not sure what I'm cheering for here. I am resigned to the fact that the Pens are definitely taking game four, but I could definitely see the Flyers wrapping this up in five. I'd love to see the Pens eliminated (AT HOME NO LESS) but I wanted oh so badly to see the Flyers up close for this playoff run and I know I'll never be able to find another affordably-priced ticket!

Well what can I say? Pretty disgusted at how the Pens have played, and don't like to see them stoop to Philly's level with the undisciplined style of play. In the last 2 weeks of the regular season they were starting to give up a lot of goals to teams and I'm surprised that trend has continued.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

We are an embarrassment. Bylsma might need to be fired.

I wouldn't go thaaaaaaat far. They'll bounce back. I'll be shocked if this doesn't go at least six games.

This is a bit of an insult to the Flyers. They've outplayed the Pens in just about every aspect of the game in this series. The Flyers brought some serious heart with them. They're playing with guts and a workman like attitude. It's going to be tough to beat them if you give up after 1 period. I'm not trying to be a dick, just what I've observed so far.

The Pens have been outplayed in every category and look befuddled, plus their goaltending has been brutal. I agree with all your observations.

My bad on the insult, I know how Flyers fans never insult the Pens and are a very respectful group. It's pretty obvious we're getting outplayed, no argument there. What I meant by the "stooping to there level" is in reference to how the Flyers play in general. Did they not lead the league in penalty minutes this year? I'd be kidding myself if I said we haven't done anything wrong, there's definitely been more dirty play than I'm used to seeing from our end. When it comes down to this series, Flyers have outplayed the Pens and have definitely been the more discipline team.

Yeaaaa....sorry about that Truth :embarassed: Let's just say I didn't stop celebrating for a while after the game was over & still had a bit of bloodlust going on. Game 3 was absolutely nuts. While a game masked behind a giant 3 period fight isn't my favorite type of game to watch, it definitely gets the blood pumping. I still don't think this series is over at all. The Pen's backs are to the wall so we'll see how they respond. I'm hoping that Wednesday's game is more like game 1. That shit was so much fun to watch, regardless of the outcome. Cheers, my good man!

This Hawks series is gonna give me a damn heart attack.   I'm not to confident they can win the series I just hope they take it the distance.   I sure hope they don't suspend Andrew Shaw for the hit on Mike Smith  ::)

I don't think the Hawks have anything to worry about. They haven't been playing bad hockey, and I expect the offensive fireworks this team is capable of to be on full display when they return to the Madhouse. The Hawks have enough depth that they can afford to lose Shaw, and I'm really hoping they call up Ben Smith, who played great last year in the Canucks series. Those two goals in the dying seconds of the first two games really gave the Hawks their swagger back. That's really all that has been missing from the team since the Cup win in 2010. Hawks in 5.

Easy to say it was so much fun to watch regardless of the outcome when you win!  ;D

I honestly was shocked at how indifferent I was during and after the game yesterday. I think after the 1st 2 games, in my heart I realized we werent winning this series. With that in mind, while yesterday was somewhat of a surprise considering how the game went, Im not surprised by the outcome at all.

Winning a Cup I think is better than a Super Bowl (I know from experience ), and football is my favorite sport. When Im essentially unemotional during a playoff game, somethings is wrong, and that is this Pens team as currently constructed. Players down to coaches, the Pens have more holes than they can outscore (which it looks like they thought = success = cup). Whether its Bylsma going (doubt it this yr, but next yr is dday) or sending Martin to the AHL (assuming CBA stays the same), this team needs major changes, namely defensively but also at backup goaltender.
