Ah, thanks!  Well, it's an image drawn by the teacher who's class I took back in February when I made that toy bear (see "Our Art" thread!!).  I really loved her work http://www.mielmargarita.com/. She's a metal worker who does these animal toy sculptures and they really are out of this world.  Any way, she passed out some buttons of a few drawings of hers one day in class, this image was one, and I fell in love with it.  I'm drawn to the dichotomy of the fragile bird wearing armor.  I wanted to be able to remind myself to be strong but caring, independent but thoughtful, and somehow this image spoke to me.  So that's what it means.  Actually, I had lost the button about a week before I decided that was the image I wanted and I contacted her to get it. She seemed flattered (I assured her I was not stalking her!!).  I'm very pleased she sent me the gif so I could get it done.  Check her stuff out.  She's pretty great.

I rarely give real advice... but all I can say is when I was younger I probably would have posted pictures of myself on the internet smoking weed, (alas, there was no internet) and I would have regretted it today. I actually do have pics of myself smoking weed, and not once have I pulled them out to show friends, neighbors, or co-workers; they're actually hidden deep in boxes in my attic that would take a gargantuan effort to retrieve. There's a reason that I keep them there, True. You'll just have to trust me when I say it's not a real good idea to post pictures of yourself smoking weed on the internet. You'll be a different person in 20 years and might really regret it. Or, you may not.

Plus, I have no problem telling people I used to smoke, some 18 years ago. In fact, it's helped me get jobs in my profeession (the fact I've been clean for 18 years, not the fact I used to smoke). I'm just glad I never posted a picture on the internet of me smoking weed, for millions of people download and keep on their hard drives forever.
