Got another gig tonight, which I'm pretty freaking pumped about. I've whipped myself into an "if I'm not bleeding, I'm not into it" mentality recently, so things have gotten a hell of a lot more energetic. Recently perfected the two man back-lean with my dude Pete on bass. Brings it to a whole new level of sweaty. Hopefully we'll get some good action shots of that business tonight...

Hahahaha, I'm imagining that to be entirely hilarious and then the most incredibly awkward experience when we realize that Kimberly has to be in on it, too. We'd need a couple extra 7 inches?

yes, the painting behind me is one i did over the winter break. twas based off a dream i had where god/buddha/whatever-you-wish-to-call-it came to me in the form of a tree and time stood still. I call the piece "My Bodhi Tree"

kareem abdul jabaar is a superstar, as always.
seymour glass is little tiny angel.
and tess brown-lavoie was named after my brother's girlfriend, at the time...

(actually - funny story. my brother's senior year, he came home after school one day, and totally nonchallontly said, "I think Tess is pregnant." Of course, I freaked out. "HAVE YOU TOLD MOM!?" "no this happens all the time, it's probably no big deal we'll just wait and see!" "JEFF!" "what? it could be awesome, you never know!" "IS TESS OK?" "yeah, she's fine. Jenny it's not big deal" etc.
anyway, he went into the kitchen and made himself a sandwich while i wondered what it would be liek to have my 18 year old brother be a father. A FATHER! (he was quoted in saying "18 is too old not to have a family!" once at the dinner table... hmm).  He came back, we turned on spongebob, there was a brief pause...
"HOLY SHIT, JENNY, I MEANT THE CAT!"

funny. chaotic. intense.
then they broke up and he started being mean to the little baby kitty)

i found out soon after i named my cat that chairman meow is really not that original. but it's fun and it suits him and people like it. i wanted to rename him charlamagne though. but he's been answering to me when i scream "CHAIRMAN!!!!!!!" at the top of my lungs, or when i meow. the two together....not so much.

Be very careful when invoking the name of the Chairman in this forum.  Some of us have spent time in Cyber-Siberia as a result of unwholesome thoughts directed towards the Chairman.  The Chairman is a good Chairman.  Ho Chi Kitty?
