In Western NC (where I am) we usually get a pretty fair amount.  I don't know the annual average, but we have some pretty killer winters in Boone.

Not so much in Boone, because we have a really good 'snow response team'.  But in Asheville, it's definitely been shut down a few times.

As for the dude in the left, he hangs around that bar ALL THE TIME.  He's a real nice guy, but definitely a burned out hippy (as you can plainly see).
