The first one is it! I hope I can  get my hands on that this year...and yes I have had the celebration ale.

Terrapin just released a new one called so fresh and so green thats really good too I would recommend

"So fresh and so green"  That's classic.   ;D

I picked up some of Bell's Cherry Stout last weekend.  First Bell's beer that I haven't loved.  To be fair, I'm not a big fan of fruit in beers and stouts aren't my favorites, so it didn't have much of a chance.  The cherry flavor is very tart and comes though pretty strong for anyone that cares.  Plus it was $15ish for a sixer.  Much better beers out there for that price, IMO.

Heading to Callaway Gardens, Georgia in a bit for the week.   New Belgium distributes to Ga, so I'm really hoping to find some Ranger while I'm there.

Happy Thanksgiving, err'body.

Since taking some time off these Rangers seem especially citrusy today!

I'm a big Ranger fan, but I'm also a big fan of Sierra Nevada's Celebration IPA.  Enjoying several of those tonight!

Then I will have to try that! Usually stick to Torpedo from Sierra...thanks for the advice...

I've been enjoying Lagunitas' Little Sumpin Wild.  Had it with some Indian food and it was a nice pairing.  Good buzz at 9% alcohol, too!

Been getting a little more into Stone's beer lately...tried this a couple of weeks ago and just found another bottle.  Very tasty beverage...lots of subtle flavors, though my first bottle was banana-y...not aggressively so, but definitely there. Gotta love that Belgian yeast.  Haven't opend the 2nd bottle yet:

I also grabbed 2 bottles of this year's Vertical Epic...one to drink soon and one to cellar until 12/12/12:

I like some of Stone's brews, but their IPA is not one of them.  I do enjoy an Arrogant Bastard from time to time though.

You know, I'm not sure that I've ever had their IPA...though, if I have had it, it didn't make any sort of an impression on me.  Theirs is the first black IPA that I had and I still love that beer.  I'm not sure why I spent a few years basically ignoring them...my loss.  I like the Arrogant Bastard as well, but can't remember the last time I bought a bottle.

I know a lot of people see Sam Adams as a "gateway beer" to the craftier side of brewing, and its become popular to hate them and their beers, but damn if Old Fezziwig Ale isn't one of my favorite seasonals.

I'm with you about the St Bernardus Xmas.  Enjoyed that a lot!  Never had any FOunder's.

Were you as underwhelmed with the Pangaea as I was?  I just didn't understand that or the Jaihu.

Had this from a local brewery that I've always detested but I thought I'd give them another shot.  It was just way too much like a cheap port/barleywine for me and expensive as shit (for my wallet) for mediocrity.  I guess I just didn't get it.

This has been a nice one for me

A new Belgian beer bar has opened about 20 yards from our apartment in Malaga.  I've been enjoying a few of these so far:

And at 8.5%, a few is plenty.  Thank goodness for the short walk home.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

I didn't mind Pangea. For DFH, it's not a strong flavored brew but I didn't mind it. Not one I can drink all the time however.

Sint B is so damn good.

Mark- Jealous.
