QuoteTell everyone....EVERYONE....you know to go see "V For Vendetta." Frickin' brilliant, an instant classic.

I've been looking forward to this one for a while, I think it opens here next month.
It was due last year but was put back after the London bombings.
Alan Moore's graphic novel is excellent.

I've been watching lots of Robbie Coltrane in Cracker this week.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I've got my favorite movie "Ever After" on DVD as a birthday present today.
I watched it right after, because I love that movie so much. All the clothes, scenerys and that old feelings you get of that movie. I love it. and Drew Barrymore is the best in it. ;D

I feel kind of ashamed to admit this, but 'Ever After' came on TV the other day and I watched it the whole way through.  I kinda liked it too...did my masculinity just go up in smoke right then?

Anyone else love this poster?
I'm a big fan of Pixar & can't wait to see this movie  ;D

saw V for Vendetta with the husband... interesting and visually stimulating. love the big controversy all over the news about how it glorifies terrorism. i didn't think so. i thought the message was "government is accountable to the people, not the other way around". plus, i can't see how any proper-thinking human thinks that terrorism is worthy of glorifying. i can see how it can be a necessary evil in desperate circumstances, but i think few do it just for fun.

also really glad the huz made me sit and watch "for all mankind" about US missions to the moon. it's quite moving, as is the score by brian eno. walking on the moon looks awesome.

primus: i think your masculinity is intact, but better belch and scratch yourself just in case.  :)
everything sucks. really.

No, definitely not! It's a movie everyone should like. I've never seen Drew Barrymore in a better cast than this. I love it! It's so beautiful. ;D

takes a real man to like "chick" flicks...

i remember going to see the notebook with a girlfriend and there were tons of couples in the theatre, guys who were prolly dragged in there kicking and screaming, but i swear i saw tears welling up in more than one dude.

it's good to be in touch with your feelings

Now, now...let's not blow this thing out of proportion.  I have a reputation to protect.  I usually hate chick flicks in general...basically the same story with different actors and settings.

But this movie was pretty sweet :)

Totally agree. Very cool and very political movie.

Don't worry, Meg.  To me you'll always be the lovely, curly haired dame that tried to eat a baby's brains because of a heroine withdrawel  ;)
