Dissapointed in V, natalie was a tad overacting in some scenes. Thought the individual scenes were good but it didn't flow for me. Of course I went in expecting to see the next Matrix, and how often does one of those come along?
My favorite movie the past year has been Constant Gardener. Better than Brokeback and Crash in my own opinion.

Looking forward to V.

Amen to Constant Gardener.

Loved Crash.

Just saw Confessions of a Dangerous Mind - I'm not sure why I haven't seen it before, but it was really good.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith--it was actually pretty amusing
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

I saw "Slither "and also saw "Neil Young Heart Of Gold"
Slither wasn't great but still lots of fun for a horror/comedy flick. But I loved Heart of Gold, it was so good!

I can't wait to see Heart of Gold.  :)

Yeah, I thought I'd hate it when my girlfriend dragged me to it last summer.  It was actually really entertaining though.

it's definitely eye-candy heaven... although i thought their chemistry was excellent.
am i the only one who thinks that, looks aside, brad pitt is a pretty decent actor?
everything sucks. really.

nope.  i like brad pitt for sure.  it was legends of the fall that did it for me.  i don't actually find him very attractive.

hahahahahahahaha.  oh god, as if i would say that.  what i should say is that he's not really the type of actor that i get spazzy about.  but i recognize that his face has symmetry, etc.  ;)

primushead

Fight Club gave me a new perspective on him.  He really is a good actor (when he wants to be).

Easy Morning Rebel

I saw Just Like Heaven yesterday and I loved it. Reese Whiterspoon is one of my favorite actresses ever and she didn't dissappoint me in this movie either.

Yeah, I loved his Irish accent in "Snatch".

Have you ever seen "Ken Park"?  What do you think about it?

Mr. T.

About Brad Pitt. If the script is right he's gonna be good, remember e.g. Seven. If the script is bad, he's not going to make it better, remember 'The Mexican'.

I recently saw CRASH, and i was rather let down. The acting is very strong, but I wondered, is everybody in America as edgy about racial issues as the charachters in the film?

we are concern,
we are hope despite the times

The Squid And The Whale and Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. Both good films for completely different reasons.

YES!!! I saw this movie about a month or so ago, going into it with the expectations of it being an '8-mile' or some cliche rap movie about a kid making it from the ghetto to the big time...but it was so much more than that.  It focuses on the music way more than I thought it would.  And the Pimpin!!  My God, the pimpin!  Yeah, great movie. 8)

Murder By Decree

A sherlock holmes film investigating Jack the Ripper

Yes it is really good.

A great British Commonwealth cast too: Canadians Christopher Plummer, Donald Sutherland, Genevive Bujold and director Bob Clark (of Porky's, A Christmas Story and Black Christmas fame); and some great English actors like James Mason, David Hemmings (his film Blow-Up is one of the best from the 60's), Anthony Quale and John Geilgud.

A clever idea to tie-in Sherlock Holmes into the Ripper mythology.

i might have to add this murder by decree gem to my netflix, i've never even heard of it but it sounds ace.

i didn't want to start a whole new topic, but does anyone else find the first Harry Potter movie to be totally magical? i'm in my 20s and i just get all starry eyed whenever i see it... ok, enough dorkiness.
everything sucks. really.

just watched the thin red line with my husband, his first time...
i loved the movie in the theatre, despite it being completely disjointed, then i read some more about it and found out that terrence malick's original cut of the movie was 6 hours long.
war movie that is more philosophy than shoot-'em up, and beautiful cinematography. some day, there'll be a director's cut. the book is excellent.
everything sucks. really.
