Love 'em both: Beat Takeshi rules!!! Also, anyone that loves Oldboy must watch the other two from the revenge trilogy: Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance (Oldboy is the middle film).

i havent ran across the other two but the version of oldboy i have has one of those crazy backwards graphic novels that tells most of the story afterward

Same here, haven't seen those around and it took me forever to find Oldboy. Borders had in their locked DVD shelves as opposed to having it in their foreign film section.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Both are just as good as Oldboy, but more retrospective.

QuoteHangover was hilarious! Even better than Role Models and I thought that was really funny... ;D ;D ;D

My cousin told me yesterday that its the funniest movie he's ever seen. I thought it looked good but not great based on the previews, but he said its 100 times better than the previews and that he didnt think he ever went 60 seconds without laughing. Also said the theater he was in was sold out and gave it a standing ovation when it ended.

...I think im going to be seeing it sooner rather than later, and not seeing all those damn commercials for it all the time anymore is certainly helping. If you think its better than Role Models, its gotta be good. i'll be pleasantly surprised if I would put it in my 10 favorite comedies of all time after seeing it though.
its no old school but damn was it close i dont think i was high enough....

i think it was funnier than old school, then again, i'm not a dude...andy from the office and zach galifanikis (Sp) stole the show... ;D ;D
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

the hangover was hilarious. really enjoyed that movie!

sidenote: across the universe was offered on demand yesterday as a free movie. i had seen it before and was like, hey, i'll watch this again. but--i totally forgot about the bono cameo. it ruined the movie for me.

Trading Places...I own it, so I've seen it a few times. Hilarity.

I'd really like to see The Hangover.

Yes...Dan Aykroyd dressed as Santa with the JD, the salmon and the gun.  Hilarious.  ;D

If I wasn't busy spending so much money on beer, I'd buy it blind too.

Oldboy had some pretty crazy scenes it, but I only found it to be okay.

I have to be honest... after Planet of the Apes and then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I have no faith in Tim Burton's re-makes.

I actually thought PotA was pretty good until the ending. Tim Roth was great in that, and the effects/makeup were spectacular.

...and plus you got Estella Warren  :-*
