As far as Harrison Ford badassery in the Indy movies, nothing beats the scene were he .38's the arab dude with the swords. Except when he grabs the MP40 and guns down the Nazis in his dad's room... "Junior! Look what you did! I can't believe what you just did!" Hilarious and badass.

But if ya'll remember, when Han shot Greedo cold blooded in Star Wars, that was a  :o moment.

Best Ford line in any movie, "GET OFF MY PLANE!"

I have not gone to the movies in a long time (except for animated shit with the kids) but I want to go see that movie badly.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Angry Ewok

It has plenty of tommy guns and "gangster ass shit"...

I almost said Air Force One too when I mentioned The Fugitive as another badass Ford movie. That movie was good, but Gary Oldman brings it up another notch.

He has a lot of good movies where he's not so badass too though  ;D

Public Enemies and The Hangover is one of the double features at the drive-in until friday....I gots to go see that combo 1 of the next couple of nights with some brews within arm's reach.

Public Enemies looks excellent, but Im interested to see how much I will enjoy the end since I basically already know whats going to happen.

its awesome. there's actually 3 within reasonable driving distance from me, 2 of them are like a 25 minute drive. I figured they were making a comeback or something?!

You cant beat $6 for 2 movies (3 on weekends at 1 of the drive-ins) and youre allowed to BYOB.

For those of us who are students of history, we can pretty much take a nap after the infamous clusterfuck of an ambush.  That's kind of the last action scene before the inevitable ending.

The Hangover.  Ridiculously good.

& I can't believe I haven't seen Anvil mentioned here. Shocked.

August Rush

Nothing was on TV that I wanted to watch, so I ended up going with this and it was actually good. You might remember this from previews a couple years ago, its that movie with a kid who is a musical prodigy.

I typically dont watch, much less enjoy, non-animated G or PG movies, but this one was good. Almost more fairy tale than movie, and youre probably better off if you treat the story as such, but it was entertaining, compelling, and just an enjoyable movie. The kid's parent's, played by Keri Russell as a juilliard cello player and Jonathan Rhys Myers and the guitar/vocals of a low level band, have never met there son (or knew he existed) until recently, and August (the kid) is on a mission to find them by using his music hoping they hear it.  Robin Williams had 1 of his best performances in years in a major supporting role as the guy who "taught" August about music.

I know were all music lovers here, so I even recommend the movie more so because of that. Lot of good music in it, but the message of the universality of music and of music being everywhere, all you have to do is listen really hit home for me and made the movie more enjoyable.

When people want to see badd ass GO, I always tell them Romeo is Bleeding. I have a serious man crush on Gary.

He is so fantastic in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. I would HIGHLY recommend that.
