I liked that one as well. The only Jarmusch I havent seen is The Limits Of Control (really bad reviews) and Ghost Dog. Here's my ranking:
1. Down By Law
2. Night On Earth
3. Dead Man
4. Broken Flowers
5. Mystery Train
6. Stranger Than Paradise
7. Coffee And Cigarettes
8. Permanent Vacation (can't even remember what happened in this movie or what the plot was or if it had a plot)

Ghost Dog is a must see...That movie is all kinds of awesome, and Forest Whitaker is very good (as usual). Soundtrack by RZA is icing on the cake. A story about an assassin like you've never seen before

Gary Farmer reprises his Dead Man role in Ghost Dog. I wish Farmer was offered more roles.

Sparkle

The Hurt Locker - wow, what a great movie. Jeremy Renner was just fantastic.

Threw in Dead Man's Shoes....again.

sigh

I really paid attention to the scenery/local this time. Gorgeous area it was shot in. Incredibly scenic. I'm assuming this was filmed in the Midlands somewhere? DB?

My sister made me watch Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince (good, better than Order Of The Phoenix & much better than Goblet Of Fire. I still think Prisoner Of Azkablah is my fav) & then we watched the original 101 Dalmations (that was my choice)

Moviewise yes 6 is better then 4 and 5 but not as good as 3, bookwise however 6 is still the best IMO. Some of the changes from book still bug me but I understand why they did them.

Nuttin wrong with the original 101. It's my favorite of that period. I LOVE the animation style in it.

Yeah 101 is beautiful to look at & lots of fun. Sword In The Stone is probably still my fav from that era...

Aristicats is another good one.

My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done

Great acting, beautiful cinematography, excellent music and a fascinating script somehow added up to only a decent movie. Don't ask me how. Considering it's a Herzog film, I was surprised at the amount of humor present. I certainly don't regret having seen it at all, but I don't have to see it again.

My sister got my other sister all the Potter movies for xmas, so me and my dad (who was back last week) pretty much got coerced into watching 1 a night. They were okay to good depending on the movie, but definitely geared toward 10-16 year olds I thought. Maybe its just me, but I felt like Rowling took a lot of themes/ideas from Star Wars and threw 'em in there Potter style. I agree with both of you, Azkaban was my favorite of the bunch, and Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) was my favorite character of all the movies. I also thought, though not surprised, all the name actors - Oldman, Alan Rickman, Brendan Gleeson, Jason Isaacs - really carried a lot of parts of the movies. If I ranked them all, it'd probably be:

Azkaban
Half Blood Prince
Order of the Phoenix
Chamber of Secrets
Goblet of Fire
Sorceror Stoned (although I missed the first 45 min or so of this one)

....and I like those old school Disney flicks as well, kind of grew up on those and the ones that came out when I was young late 80's-early 90's. Sword and the Stone is up there, that scene where theyre both fishes swimming in the moat is one of my favorite scenes from a Disney movie, period. My favorite from that era has to be Robin Hood, with Jungle Book close behind.

I finally saw The Hangover.

I didn't think it was that funny, especially in the second half.   :-/

(I still love you, Zach Galifianakis!)

Galifianakis definitely carried it IMO...I almost cried of laughter a few times the first time I saw it, but a lot of the humor is gimmicky and the rewatchability is about as low for a comedy as it gets (or at least a comedy that I thought was pretty funny the first time)

I definitely laughed a lot, but I sort of hate that kind of movie where one thing after another goes wrong, so it becomes sort of predictable.  Like you just knew that car wouldn't make it back to LA unscathed.

Wristcutters

Very quirky "love" story/Charming little film. Interesting plot and take on the afterlife for suicide cases. And it has Tom Waits and Will Arnet in it.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.  Pretty funny.  Well made.

I saw The Hangover as well.  I was worried that it may have been a little over hyped but I still thought it was hilarious.   I was brought to tears on several occasions.

I can't wait to watch Inglorious Basterds again.  That's my movie of the year.  (which doesn't mean too much since I don't go to the theatre anymore really except to see things like cloudy with a chance of meatballs.)
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Did you see F Mr Fox? In one scene (I think when Mr. Fox is eating breakfast & talking to Mrs. Fox) this song from Disney's RH was playing on the radio. I love Robin Hood & noticed it straight away...what a cool little homage!
