I love Inside Llewyn Davis. thought it was excellent and the music was fucking great too.

Unbroken - C+  it was ok, needed something else.  I've read the book and I think they could have had more scenes from the states to give it more of an emotional punch.

Inherent Vice - B+  really good movie that might go to an "A" on subsequent viewings, not dissimilar to other PTA movies.  Joaquin was amazing as usual, Brolin was great.

Boyhood - A- a damn good movie that really struck a personal note from me.  Patricia Arquette definitely deserves her awards this season as does Linklater.

CAN'T WAIT FOR AMERICAN SNIPER.

Just caught Whiplash since its gotten stellar reviews and I have been wanting to watch it for a while.  It was fantastic, Simmons gave a great performance and Teller really broke out as most of his previous roles have been underwhelming.  Definitely Top 5 of 2014 and quite possibly numero uno, unless Calvary takes that crown.

happy to see Whiplash is finally getting a wider release. It was at one theater here for like 2 weeks! Also happy to see it nominated and winning some deserved awards!

I just watched The Grand Budapest Hotel. I'm a fan of Wes Anderson and this film doesn't disappoint. It's deliciously quirky like most of his films, also...Ralph Fiennes :)

Kurt Cobain Montage of Heck.  It's great and very well done but also sad depressing so get ready to be totally bummed out.

The Watcher. Pretty terrible. Keanu Reeves makes a lousy villian. This movie just proves that.

saw this last weekend. I loved it. Very heartfelt story. music was great in it too along with some very pretty scenes in Pittsburgh. Go See It!!
