I still think is one of the greatest albums ever conceived by a band or artist.  Every time i listen to it i get the same reaction.  Its one of the greatest statements of the human soul

Anyone agree with my sentiment

I agree, but only after I start listening to it again, if that makes sense. I don't walk around on the earth with the feeling of how great it is, however, it seems like every time I play it, I go, "Holy shit, this is amazing!" But for some odd reason, I forget about it's greatness.

does that make sense?

Tracy, that makes sense.

This one of my favorite albums.  Its depressing yet hopeful.  '

Dare I say, it moves me.

Being a MAJOR FLips fan, hells yeah. Personally, I think it's probably in the top 3 albums of the 90's (if not #1) and certainly in the top 10 albums of all time. I get choked up everytime I hear it.

I have now read this exact thread on three different message boards. Hmm. . . looks like the op and I have very similar tastes in music. . .
Because if there's one thing that goes well with shooting zombies it's a Dolly Parton cover-el chode

...I love that record and was into the Flaming Lips for a while before my friend heard them.....so I gave him all the records and he played the shit out of that one (I mean all the time)....I love it and what it stands for and the message it puts through the listeners ear, but I can't hear it again for a while.....but seeing Do You Realize live is one of the most incredible music experiences of my life.....you just can't beat the Lips live even though I have seen the same show pretty much four times, it's still soooooo good and soooo much fun and all the people there just want to have a good time and it is amazing, go see them.....

....I am not going to lie though, my favorite Lips stuff is the early 90's stuff.....in my opinion there best records are Transmissions From The Satelittle Heart, Clouds Taste Metallic, and In A Priest Driven Ambulance.....I wish they would play some old stuff when they play live instead of stuff from the last three records....but nothing but love for the Lips.....

Actually their last tour, they were playing some oldies. Yeah it would be nice to hear more from those 3 (and don't forget Hit to Death in the Future Head. Halloween on the Barbary Coast is spectacular live.
