or just make everyone wait for 3 hours while they assembled his stage.
Is there a doctor in the house tonight?

James Jacket

Seriously, this is pretty bit sh*t. So pleased for the guys, especially after everything that's happened in the last two months.

The DARK

From the barns of Kentucky to the Grammys. Who says hard work doesn't pay off?  ;)
In another time, in another place, in another face

QuoteIn Rainbows is nominated? That album was on my best of 2007 list! :-/
They go by albums released between Oct. 1 2007 - Sept. 30 2008.
In Rainbows shows that it was released Jan. 1 2008. (but I could have sworn it was out before then)

Anyway, so happy for the band, how cute would it be to see them all dressed up on the red carpet. I wonder who they'll be seated by, my money's on Beyonce and Jay-Z.  [smiley=huh.gif]

They are playing a show the night of Feb. 6th in Osaka, Japan, and the Grammy's are on the night of Feb. 8th.   Obviously they can get there in time but lets hope they don't have jet lag and Sushi food poisoning.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Sherpa

Yes!!!!! I am very proud.

Don't you fucking dare jinx my show BH  ;)

This had crossed my mind, man oh man I sure hope they don't cancel  :-/

Maybe I should post some life in the Japan Tour thread...
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

That was the day the CD was physically released. They had it online for a long time before then though.

Ghostess on TV

That's awesome!  I'd like to hear Jim's speech if they won..

No way they cancel!  Grammy stars get private jets with champagne, bails of cocaine and topless flight attendents.  They'll be fine.

I NEED TO WIN MYSELF A GRAMMY!

Haldon

congrats to the guys.

this truly is a wonderful acknowledgement, not just of the evil urges record, but of the growth they have experienced in order to get to the point where they could actually make this record

i am very happy for the band, and I can't wait to see the Grammy Nominated MMJ in NYC on new years

ManNamedTruth

One album too late IMO. Grammys are BS, but congrats to MMJ anyway.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

I have not been on the board since nursing my wounds about missing Chicago. But this has me in tears of joy.

About the Grammy's though: the Coldplay record = yuck; Radiohead = last year.

But whatever my beefs and griefs, this is such great news for such deserving guys. I love this band so much.

Uhhh...

The boys may be nominated, but that doesn't mean people will get their names right:

My guess is they cropped the picture and didn't adjust the names.
Cow temperature.

I don't even think that's Tommy.  I think it's M.Ward.
