i really haven't trained yet. i have a midnight job on the weekends and school/work on the weekdays. but i'm going to do a little drinking today.

You must be crazy to try and take on a THS/Boss double-header without any drinking training at all! It's a good job I'm here to show you the way.

I don't know your domestic situation, ie whether you can get a partner for a little speed work, or some heavy training, but here goes.

Monday 22 October:  D-9.

I suggest limbering up with a few cold ones: Coors Light will do nicely.  After three cans, switch to a darker beer (this will keep your liver on its toes).  Ideally, you should try a fine Belgian such as Leffe.

Finally, I recommend a Jameson nightcap - nothing stupid, just a wee dram.  It will help you to channel the HS vibe...

Your soundtrack for the night should be a combination of Cattle and the Creeping Things together with The River.  Light and dark.  Light and dark.

i only have one can of coors light, and it just got opened. i bought  some fat tire and a six pack of leffe. i didn't get  jameson but i do have some Jager.

I love a good music documentary, so I can't wait to see this. This is the first I've heard about it.

There's a Drive-By Truckers documentary that's supposed to come out in 2008 as well. It's gonna be a good year for music docs. Fuck yeah.
