Astronautilus' Pomegranate was 1 of my favorite albums of 2008...Sounds kind of like a cross between Beck and Modest Mouse at times, with more hip hop influence, but he really has his own sound, and a sound that is uniquely variable as well. Almost all the songs are storytellers, and he certainly excels at that.
