the sun and moon

That is the most impossible question in the world. Dylan's albums are like my children. I somehow find myself loving them all the same. If they were my children, and they asked me who I loved the most, I would tell them I loved them all, but I just love each and every one of them in their own sweet special way.

...but Blonde On Blonde would be the one I would shower with gifts and kisses.

Like everyone else, I find it difficult to pick a favorite.
None have ever let me down or bored me.
I have not yet seen mention of NEW MORNING. A GREAT album.
My other favorites are all the ones I own: a lot, but not all of the Dylan out there, so I will list them anyway, (chronologically, going by release-date):
Bob Dylan 1962
The Freewheelin'
The Times They Are A-Changin'
Another Side of Bob Dylan
Bringing It All Back Home
Highway 61 Revisited
Blonde on Blonde
John Wesley Harding
Nashville Skyline
Planet Waves
Blood on the Tracks
The Basement Tapes
Desire
Slow Train Coming
Oh Mercy
Bootleg Series Vol. 1-3
Time Out of Mind
Bootleg Series Vol. 4, Live 1966
Love and Theft
Bootleg Series Vol. 5, Live 1975, Rolling Thunder Revue
Modern Times
Bootleg Series Vol. 8, Tell Tale Signs

Any recommendations as to what I need next? I'm thinking Self-Portrait or Saved...
"Yeah, it's chaos, it's clocks, it's watermelons, it's everything."

What an unbelievably difficult question...

Highway 61... freewheelin' Bob Dylan... Blood on the Tracks... Blonde on Blonde...

Right now though I am destroying the Royal Albert Hall show from the Bootleg Series...

As much as I love Blood on the Tracks and Oh Mercy, Desire will always be #1.

That just reminded me how much I need Tell Tale Signs.  What an incredible song.

I love the new album cover, can't wait to hear it.

Desire... Black diamond Bay, may be my favorite Dylan song.
Blood on the tracks is essential
