mind at large

back on a classical kick.  skip to the 2.00 minute mark to skip all the pre-show fluff.

For some reason, a lot of this lately. It has been at least 10 years since I gave this CD a spin. I've saw Roger Waters 16 years ago and it was awesome. Wish I could have seen the four of them on stage together.

The National and Jessica Lea Mayfield and Seth Avett do Elliot Smith
Can you keep it simple? Can you let the snare crack? Can you let it move without holding back?

Like the new Blur album a lot.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

It's funny how your lights are off but your music's on.

Beck, Built To Spill, Jim James, and Floating Action on shuffle. Not a bad way to go.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

"Well, they say a decent man is hard to find when your taste in music is as good as mine and I just could not ignore what I already knew.
When you said that you'd never heard of John Prine, well, I knew right away you weren't worth my time and I'm sorry to say, hon', before we'd begun we were already through.

You know I'm a jukebox honey but I ain't got much money.
You said you had a song that you wanted to hear so I gave my change to you.
When I heard that jukebox start I knew the cupid's dart had missed its mark.
If I can't trust you with a quarter how can I trust you with my heart?

You can call me stubborn, you can call me a snob. You can even call me downright mean but I've got the finest record collection that you've ever seen.

You know I'm a jukebox honey but I ain't got much money.
You said you had asong that you wanted to hear so I gave my change to you.
When I heard that jukebox start I knew the cupid's dart had missed its mark.
If I can't trust you with a quarter how can I trust you with my heart?"
It's funny how your lights are off but your music's on.
