Good to see you back, Paulie!  We've been back on the new-old forum for a couple of months now - people power won the day.  Hope you stick around; plenty of good people either toughed it out or have come back since the change back.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

I'm getting bored with this election stuff. Somebody go stuff those Republicans down a public toilet already!

I can't stop staring at Joe's bat ears, tho.
Babe, let's get one thing clear, there's much more stardust when you're near.

This goddam rules. Bruce Cockburn remains an underrated genius, both as a songwriter and innovative guitarist. From ALC. Do yourself a favour and seek him out.

Not currently listening to (I just bought it and didn't want to listen to an album stream before the release date) but definitely about to listen to King Animal by
S O U N D G A R D E N. I'm so excited!!!!!
How loud can silence get?

Ruckus

New album Gentle Stream is fucking Amazing! :undecided:  :embarrassed: :cheesy:

I know they've been opening for Tame Impala but I would have gone to seen them first and foremost.  The guitar work from the dude from Dungen is sublime throughout.  The Neil Young and Crazy Horse and Bryter Later Nick Drake comparison I pulled from a couple of reviews but they are spot on.  I don't mind derivative done well.

Wynton Marsalis On JazzSet

Marsalis rings in New Year's 2012 New Orleans' style with the music of King Oliver and Jelly Roll Morton. The trumpeter, who hails from the Crescent City, leads the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra through a rousing set before a boisterous, sold-out house at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola in New York.

Hello all. I used to get a lot of musical inspiration from this forum before it got its ghastly makeover and I had pretty much given up on it. Anyway, suffering from not finding any decent music lately I thought I'd come and see what was on the site and am very pleasantly surprised to see that the old forum seems to be restored. When did this happen?

Needless to say I am very happy.....and here's what I am currently listening to:

doug sahm and the sir douglas quintet-give back the key to my heart

Good one Paulie
I was just listening to some Texas Tornados
